TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
